The imbalance of nature
Dye know, and I dont mean to knock the man - I have never met him, but its odd how a bloke like Tony Fenton has women falling over themselves to chat him up. I was at a bar where he was last night and Good Holy God, Fabio with no hair was lapping up the attention. I noted brunettes didnt come in to the equation- Dam! If my Dad went to a pub and went aro0und chatting young single women up, he would soon have several black eyes, go home and getsome more.
So with spirits dampened as no punter even glanced in my direction, we rocked on up to the mecca that is Flannerys on Camden Street. Flannerys for those of you who haven't set foot inside, its the best place on earth, cheesy eighties tunes where people especially men have the god given right to dance in a way they never would in another public venue. They need to do something about their toilets which leave the strongest smell of detergent on yer clothes though. Ive said it before its to cliche to go there on a Thursday - it gets wedged.The beer goggles weren't on for once and there were alot of fine men, one in particular was so hot, movie looks hot, who had easily five women come up to him but didnt succeed. So a few drinks later, I was leaving. I am so not the queen of chat up now, so don't judge. I went over to him and in a curious way asked how dye get so many women come up to you. The innocent punter didnt even notice they were there to chat to him. So we had a few chats and left. Woman number six I thought to myself. Came home and fell into bed and actually remembered to shut my front door for once.
So whats the lesson to be learned here folks, apart from don't stay on vodka all night- it doesnt get you drunk. Seize the day, if you want to chat some one up, do and if you are being chatted up by someone, let them. And if someone does come up with a lame line like "can I score you later?", its been done before, tell them how to improve on it, they don't teach it in school ye know. You can always come up with an excuse later. It would be very condusive to a communicative environment.
Word of the day; Lovebomb; Definition; PR speak for plámás, be all over someone. To use in a sentence "we have to lovebomb the client".
Going to get loads of mileage out of that one, may God strike me down if I ever say it and mean it,thanks for that one Micko.
