What happens when Payday arrives.........

My sister asks me casually what I was at this weekend, going to the Long Stone for Tones' birthday on Friday for a sneaky- celebrate- payday few and on Saturday to the Court in Naas says I.

She said in her innocence "Oh, Ive never been to the Court".

The silence. The pity I had for her. Shes two years older then me after all.

Cut to a dream sequence of life without The Court Nightclub in Naas. We would never have had the dance offs , never have scored those random punters whose names escape me now, never have learned to pole dance with Gerry, never have seen a nightclub with psychedellic carpet on its walls, never have gotten my bag robbed(poor Rachels genuine Prada is long gone) and lost some on more then one occasion, manys a piece of jewellery has been lost- but I suspect I may have pawned them for drink at some stage, never sang karoake so bad in front of strangers - that the carter twins (!) had to drown out our voices and push the volume up on the backing track, never having fallen down their two flights of stairs, never drank pints of wine out of plastic glasses.
Its neverending. Good Times I say. Do yourself a favour Emma.

And lastly to wish Murph a happy birthday- the courts the place to be, and Tony C an early Happy Birthday. Hurrah for the Radge, may he last the night and not sneak home to County Lucan on the last bus!

I've arrived

Well I never.

there I was wondering how to spice up my hungover Thursday and Julianne (sssup J) sent me her friend Tones' blog. He is quite the novelist. Remarkable talent for making a night out on the town sound like an elegant teaparty. He doesnt frequent Flannerys, but sure we'll forgive him for that, its not like they are a pub struggling for customers. Anyway it gave me the idea to put my thoughts down on, er, cyberspace. They are random, probably going to consist of nights out and what Im having for lunch but I dont keep a diary so here it is. FYI todays lunch is chicken and sweetcorn in a wrap to go with my half eaten sausage roll from a misjudged hungover craving earlier this morning.

Tony if you read this you might give me a headsup on where to find my blogspot as I didnt read how to work this blogging malarkey.

So I shall start(half way through my blog) on last night. Twas a good one as I found my jacket I left in d2 last week. Went to D2, Whelans; where I preceded to eye up a really hot chap who I thought was giving me the eye, but when I went over after a skinful of stellla to force my phone number upon him he gave me the oddest look. Good Times. Met Juliannes mates for Tulla on Tour there, they were great craic, we went to Flannerys with them. There was music and a bit of bopping but I cant remember what it was. Then I went to Coppers (I was a coppers virgin till last night) its not as tackyas I had heard. It was quite empty, the cops mustve been working hard or something. It was a tad blurry ( the night not the nightclub), this morning actually is as well. Gonna sign off for the first time,

K.
token thought of the day;
I prefer this cold crisp weather to sunny days in Ireland, it makes the canal looks nicer.
